Portrait of Amélie Dupont

April was born and raised in the United Kingdom.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Canterbury Christ Church University in 2014, and soon after exhibited in London, New York, and Paris.

Highlights from this time include showing work at the Louvre as part of the see.me Exposure Award Exhibition (2015), and Art Takes Times Square in New York City (2014).

In 2016, she immigrated to Toronto, Canada, where she worked at Katalyst Licensing & Promotions, designing merchandise for brands such as Disney, Marvel, HBO, and Mattel. Following this, she joined RBC Borealis in 2018, where she currently serves as Head of Visual Design.

Relocating to the Okanagan Valley in 2020, she renewed her connection to painting—drawn once again to abstract expression as a form of quiet exploration.

Today, she works from a small home studio nestled between lake and mountains, using natural earth pigments to create pieces that reflect the subtle sensations of place, memory, and time.
